Alice & Jay
Part 1
‘Oh…my….Gosh! JAY!’ I squealed, squirming about on the floor as he tickled me and tickled me until I felt like I was about to pass out.
He sat on top of me on the floor and huffed, ‘Sore loser.’ he moaned, frowning at me.
‘Oh shut Bird, you know I love you.’ I said, smiling at him.
He grinned at me, ‘I love you too Alice.’ he said, moving and lying down on top of me.
‘What are you doing?’ I giggled.
He looked into my eyes for a while as he tucked a stray piece of hair behind my ear. My face became serious now, what was he doing? He was just my dozy best friend, right?
I couldn’t help just get lost in those deep sparkling blue eyes of his though.
All of a sudden, the front door slammed shut and Jay jumped up, pulling me up with him as the lads walked in.
Jay was in a band, called The Wanted. I’d moved down to live with him in London. Sharing a house with 5 lads was not easy, but it was fun.
‘Alright kiddies?’ Tom asked, putting down a plastic bag.
I glanced at Jay as he scratched his head awkwardly.
Was I alright? I felt weird…
Part 2
‘A bit of hanky-panky going on there?’ Max said, wiggling his eyebrows.
‘Us?’ I said. ‘Never.’
Max laughed, and chucked his jacket on the back of the sofa. Jay moved away from me, and over to the fridge, opening it and sticking his head inside.
I flopped down on the sofa and put my feet up. Nathan sat down next to me, and nudged me.
‘You and Jay…’ He said, and then raised his eyebrows.
I shook my head. ‘No, Nathan, for the millionth time.’
‘Mm-hm. Okay.’ He murmured, and turned away from me.
‘Nath, I’m serious.’ I said.
He pulled a face that said yeh, whatever you say and turned away.
God I hated those boys sometimes.
Part 3
It was only a night out with the boys, but I decided I might as well look nice. I stood looking into the bathroom mirror for a good twenty minutes putting on makeup, and then another twenty minutes deciding what dress to wear. In the end I decided on a silver sequined dress and some black heels.
As I walked out of my room, my heels making a loud clacking noise on the floor, a wolf whistle came from the living room.
‘Shut up, Tom.’ I said, throwing a cushion at him.
He laughed, but kept staring at me.
Max had already left with Michelle, so me and Tom waited for Jay. After another five minutes, Jay came out, wearing jeans and a blue button down shirt.
His eyes widened as he saw me. ‘You look…’ He paused, staring at me. ‘Amazing.’
I blushed, and muttered, ‘Thanks.’
‘Come on then, let’s go!’ Tom said, jumping up and pulling me with him.
Jay nodded, and followed him out, and I followed behind them, locking the door on my way out.
